NITROSTAN ACRYLIC PRIMER SURFACER
Like the Universal Primer except it has greater flexibility and adhesion
over aluminum. This primer has higher solids which produces a faster
film build so less material is used. It dries within 30 minutes and
sands easily.
Platinum 7006, Cream 7007
A high build, fast drying primer that can withstand baking temperatures and has excellent adhesion to bare aluminum.
PREPARATION FOR REPAIRING SCRATCHES:
When satisfied with the sanding of the Acrylic Putty, clean the area of the sanding residue, wipe dry and clean again with a tack cloth. Spray the entire repair area with a medium coat of primer. Allow the primer to flash dry for about 5-10 minutes before wet sanding with #400 grit sandpaper. Repeat this process several times until the repair area is glassy smooth. It is now ready for painting with and air dry or baking topcoat.
